| Project Engineer, P.E. |
| Hanson, Walter & Associates, Inc. is currently seeking a Project Design Engineer, with an emphasis in public infrastructure, roadway and utility design.
|
| Duties/Responsibilities: |
| In addition to performing aspects of design and permitting to include grading, drainage, utility, pavement, etc., and permitting to include negotiation with agency staff and appearing at public hearings as necessary to secure construction permits on behalf of our governmental clients, responsibilities will include assisting the project manager in mentoring EITs, designers and cad technicians in technical writing, engineering design and preparation of construction documents for use in bidding and construction.

| Qualifications: |
The position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering, professional registration or the ability to secure the same and 4 years experience in public development engineering. Specific skills should include preparation of improvement plans, stormwater runoff modeling, preparation of drainage reports, utility design, hydraulic modeling (hydraulic and hydrology calculations), and local and state permitting. Experience with ICPR, AutoCAD, StormCad, and WaterCad required.
The successful candidate will have the ability to analyze design constraints and define proper techniques for overcoming design obstacles. Surveying knowledge is preferred. The ability to manage staff and sub-consultants, good communication skills and experience in Central Florida are all pluses.

| CAD Technician |

| Duties/Responsibilities: |
| Responsibilities include assisting the Project Manager and Project Engineers in the drafting and production of accurate and comprehensive plans. |
| Qualifications: |
The position requires a working knowledge of site plans, drainage and utility layout, roadway and sidewalk improvements, grading and plan & profiles. Experience in AutoCAD required. Land Development Desktop (LDD) and surveying preferred. Good communication skills a plus.
